FAITH

Parish

Our community aspires to be a faith community guided by the Spirit, following Jesus through our daily lives.

We constantly strive to develop adult faith in the community, to enhance our participation in the celebration of our Sunday Eucharist, to reach out to others in need, and to build a strong, happy, supportive and prayerful community. We hope you will feel at home and become involved in our celebrations and activities.

As an agent in the mission and ministry of the Church, Our Lady’s Primary School forms an integral part of the parish community. It receives and educates its students with respect, love and care. Our school community provides a strong sense of well-being, belonging and security. Students are given every opportunity to be affirmed in their dignity and worth, confirmed in their personhood and assisted to grow to the fullness of their potential.

The Church draws its inspiration and strength from the life of Jesus Christ. In Jesus, we experience God as a caring Shepherd who is faithful to the flock, who knows them intimately, who frees and saves.

Pastoral Care at Our Lady’s Primary School incorporates and proclaims the dimensions of justice whereby the rights of all members are respected.

At Our Lady’s Primary School, we:

  • Focus on the individual;
  • Provide support for families;
  • Demonstrate the expression of faith throughout the school;
  • Show commitment of staff to achieving the above.

A PROUD TRADITION OF CARE AND ACHIEVEMENT

“Our Lady’s Primary School recognises the importance of preparing students for a world beyond the classroom. We are constantly challenging our young minds to take learning risks and develop positive growth mindsets.”
